Professional Experience

Computer/Device Repair (2020-2021)

During my time at Secured Tech Solutions, I learned many different troubleshooting and repair techniques on a multitude of devices. My main responsibility was to diagnose and repairs devices. These devices included tablets, phones, desktops, and laptops. Repairing these devices gave me a much greater understanding of computer architecture and the functionality of components within a computer system. I also got my first peak into diagnosing lower level operating systems issues and data recovery.

IT Support (2021 - Present)

In my current position at University Information and Technology Services, Endpoint Lifecycle, I focus on providing support for many departments around the university. My main responsibilities include receiving equipment, imaging/re-imaging devices, surplussing devices, and maintaining our backup server.  I work daily to improve our situation, this includes organization, processes, and documentation. The skills I have obtained during my time with Endpoint Lifecycle are a better understanding of large scale Apple and Windows devices management, writing shell scripts, and techniques to manage inventory and the continuous movement of equipment to our clients.
